It’s an extraordinary thing to watch someone make something complex look easy to do. Bill Ames recently sold our house for over asking price and helped us buy our current home for less than comparative market value. The way he managed the buying and selling process there was no drama or last minute surprises. When our buyer’s lender presented a legal issue one day before closing, Bill got it sorted out and we closed on schedule. His measured approach, depth of real estate knowledge and foresight created two outstanding investment outcomes.

As an out of state buyer, I was nervous about the process but Bill made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. His extensive knowledge of the Atlanta market was invaluable in helping me make the right decision. His decades of experience as a realtor/broker came in handy during a very unusual time to be buying a home (covid/sellers market) and he made me feel like a priority even though he had many other clients at the same time. Bill is smart, savy, ultra professional and also a lot of fun. I will definitely call Bill again for any future real estate transactions in the Atlanta area!

Bill has sold my homes for the past 20 years. I can't speak highly enough of Bill's knowledge to find the right place. He is honest and hands-on (he helps point out the flaws and upgrades getting us to the true value), he really helps take the pressure off of the buyer so they can look at it as a from the emotional side and he will get to the practical side for you. On the buying side we never felt forced to make an offer and when we finally did Bill walked us through every step of the negotiations, slowing us down through the buying process and helping us make good choices. On the selling side Bill works hard to get the most for your house. He gets great knowledge from the buyer to know if they are a good fit so he can make the sale easy for both sides. Never trying to sell someone on the house but letting it sell its self. Helping show its values and the areas value for a good sale and happy buyers. We have had several friends looking for homes and thinking about selling, and we always recommend Bill to them!

I am fortunate enough to have worked with Bill twice and give him my highest recommendation. Bill understood our wants and has detailed knowledge of Buckhead down to specific neighborhoods and streets. He is always responsive and willing to give an informed, candid opinion to questions. He is also skilled in staging a house for sale and knowing the right contractors to perform renovations on short notice. He is very personable and I would not use anyone else the next time I need an agent or need to recommend one to someone.

Bill Ames helped my family buy and sell a house. He sold our house for over asking price, and kept us confident that we were doing the right thing. From the time we began working with Bill to the time we were actually ready to buy/sell was over a 2 year period, and Bill stayed patient with us and didn't pressure us to try to move until the market was in our favor. He was able to correctly predict the value for homes we considered buying, and helped us negotiate to get our new house within our budget. Bill is a great realtor - go no further!! I have gone through 3 home purchases/sales with Bill and without a doubt I know that Bill is always looking out for my best interests. Bill treats every house as if he is purchasing for himself and has an amazing ability to provide a vision of what could be done to make any home better. On the other hand, Bill also will be very honest and tell you to move on. There was a home that I loved but Bill knew it wasn't right for me or my family - he was right and then we found the perfect home that was right! Bill was great! He helped our family purchase our first home and the process was incredibly smooth. He's patient, was so accommodating of our schedule, and always made time to show us a home anytime or any date, even at a last moments notice. He was always up to date on the latest homes on the market. The home buying process can be very stressful, especially for your first home, however with Bill's expertise and experience, the purchase, closing, and the move-in went without a hitch.
